FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Fourth Space different?
Fourth Space is a female-owned and operated infrared heated, boutique mat fitness studio founded in Park City, Utah. Our dynamic studio offers a wide variety of well-rounded classes designed to challenge your body in different ways and support your health, performance, and longevity. From Hot Sculpt and Hot Pilates to Hot Deep Stretch and Hot Flow, our classes will keep your fitness routine and movement practice fresh and something you’ll look forward to.
Every detail of Fourth Space is intentional. From convenient parking and our ‘book a spot’ option to our state-of-the-art sound and infrared heat system, premium amenities, and thoughtfully designed classes, every detail has been carefully considered. We believe your experience begins the moment you arrive – not when class starts.
Our classes are built around music. From Sculpt to Flow to Breathe to the Beat (BTTB), music doesn’t just play in the background – it drives the experience, guided by instructors with exceptional musicality.
At Fourth Space, we’re building more than a place to work out – we’re building a community. When movement is shared and something you genuinely enjoy, consistency becomes second nature. Whether it’s your first class or your hundredth, our goal is for you to feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to Take Up Space.
What Are Your Core Class Types?
We believe the best fitness routine isn’t built around one style of movement – it’s built around variety. As part of the Fourth Space community, you’ll experience the full spectrum of fitness. Rather than specializing in one type of movement, we help you create a sustainable fitness routine that evolves with you. All Fourth Space movement classes are 50 minutes.
- Hot Sculpt – Our signature, beat-driven, high-intensity heated class blends strength and cardio to get your heart pumping and dopamine flowing long after you’ve left the room.
- Hot Pilates – A music-driven, infrared-heated class focused on controlled, lengthening movements that strengthen from the inside out. Using Pilates-specific props, you’ll build muscular endurance through intentional burnouts that improve stability, posture, and body awareness.
- Strength – Practiced in a warm (not hot) room to support heavier lifting and optimal performance. This class uses heavier weights (think 10-35 lbs) and foundational movement patterns to build muscle, improve bone density, and develop balanced, functional strength that supports you for life.
- Hot Flow – Our athletic Fourth Space yoga flow blends strength, mobility, balance, and flexibility into a dynamic, music-driven practice designed to help you move better, recover smarter, and build resilience both on and off the mat.
- Hot Deep Stretch – Give your body the recovery it deserves. Whether you’ve spent the day skiing, mountain biking, hiking, or lifting, this class is like a giant exhale for your body and is designed to relieve muscular tension and accelerate recovery.
- Breathe to the Beat– Our guided, beat-driven breathwork experience is designed to regulate your nervous system from the inside out. Through intentional breathing synchronized to music, you’ll reduce stress, improve resilience, enhance mental clarity, and leave feeling more balanced.
What Amenities Do You Offer?
Our premium locker rooms feature showers, towel service, luxury bath products, Dyson hair dryers, and a dedicated vanity area to help you get ready after class. Secure lockers and open cubbies make storing your belongings simple and convenient.
Throughout the studio, you’ll find complimentary water refill stations, a curated beverage fridge, grab-and-go refuel items, premium retail selection, and comfortable stadium-style seating designed to encourage connection before and after class.
What should I bring to class?
Just bring yourself and a water bottle.
We provide premium mats, towels, and all equipment needed for class. For our heated classes, we recommend wearing lightweight, moisture-wicking athletic clothing that allows you to move comfortably and sweat freely. Our classes are done barefoot or with grippy socks. Grippy socks are required for our Strength class and are available for purchase in studio. We know that showing up is oftentimes the hardest part – we make it easy from there!
How Hot is the Room?
Our hot classes (Hot Sculpt, Hot Pilates, Hot Flow) are held in an infrared-heated studio ranging from approximately 90–100°F depending on the class format. The heat is designed to support mobility, circulation, recovery, and a deeply immersive experience.
Our Strength and Breathe to the Beat classes will be in the same studio room, but the heat will be off.
Do you offer drop-in classes?
Yes! You can purchase a single class or choose from a variety of class packs and membership options designed to fit your schedule. Find our booking options here.
Are memberships available?
Absolutely. We offer memberships, class packs, and drop-in options.
Visit our Pricing page for current offerings. We will even offer special Founding Membership pricing prior to our launch!
What is Book a Spot?
Our booking platform allows you to reserve your exact mat location before class.
Coming with a friend? Making it a date night? Want your favorite corner?
Book your spot ahead of time, and we’ll save it just for you.
How does the waitlist work?
If a class is full, you can join the waitlist through our booking platform.
If a spot becomes available, you’ll automatically be added to class and notified.
If a spot opens within 2 hours of class start time, you’ll receive a text notification asking if you’d like to claim the spot before being added.
Do class credits expire?
Expiration policies vary by package type. Please refer to your purchase details or contact us if you have any questions.
What if I'm running late?
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before class, especially if it’s your first visit. To preserve the experience for everyone in the room, guests may not be admitted once class has begun.
Give yourself plenty of time to check in, settle in, and soak up the vibes.
Do You Have Parking?
Yes! In fact, it’s one of our favorite things about our location. You’ll find abundant, free, and convenient parking just steps from the studio, so you can spend your energy on your workout – not on searching for a parking spot.
What is Your Cancellation and No Show Policy?
We offer a generous two-hour cancellation window. Please cancel at least two hours before your scheduled class so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist.
If you cancel less than two hours before class, it will be considered a late cancel. Guests using a class package or membership will forfeit the class credit and incur a $15 late cancellation fee.
If you reserve a class and do not attend, it will be considered a no-show. Guests using a class package or membership will forfeit the class credit and incur a $20 no-show fee.
Do you offer private events or group bookings?

Can I use my class package to book all fitness classes?
ABSOLUTELY! You can use your class package to book all of our modalities freely! This includes pilates, sculpt, yoga, strength, deep stretch, and breathe to the beat.
Why Do You Offer So Many Different Class Types?
We believe the best fitness routine isn’t built around doing the same workout every day – it’s built around variety. Humans were designed to move in many different ways: to lift, carry, run, recover, breathe, and build resilience.
That’s why our programming includes strength, cardio, mobility, recovery, and breathwork. By rotating between class types, you can build a well-rounded routine that supports your health, performance, and longevity while allowing you to take classes multiple days each week without overtraining the same movement patterns.
